Newington Road

The King and Queen of Newington
Laugh across the road.
A girl in her Adidas tracky-bees flicks a V
Up at the 33 bus, smiles, and snatches
Her glance away as she walks South,
Hands in coat pockets.
She spits onto tarmac as a red Corsa halts by the red lights.
